Echigo-Yuzawa Hot Springs ~ The charm of Toei hot springs source ~

Toei hot springs source was mined in 1949 and boasted abundant discharge amount.However, the construction of the Joetsu Shinkansen affected several sources of Echigo-Yuzawa Hot Springs and reduced the amount of hot water in the entire Yuzawa Town.Therefore, in order to provide stable water supply with “Toei hot springs source” and 6 other sources, we adopted a hot spring intensive management system in 1975. It has been transferred to the private sector since 2006. At present, the hot springs are collected in four hot spring facilities and sent to Hotel and hot spring facilities.
The source of the Yuzawa Toei Hotel contributes significantly to the development of Yuzawa Town.
