Yuzawa ILUMIMANIA” slope projection mapping
The event will be held over three days from March 1 (Friday) to March 3 (Sunday), 2024.
The theme of Japanese scenery is the slopes of Yuzawa Kogen Ski Resort Family Course at night,
The event will be decorated with projection mapping using light and music.
Japanese motifs such as carp, ponds, and pine trees resonate and change with the sound, creating a Japanese winter.
An interactive installation that offers a more immersive experience of the beautiful Japanese winter will also be on display in the Yuzawa Toei Hotel.
The system is linked to projection mapping, and by holding your smartphone over the slope, you can tap the
Smilem, in which the trajectory appears as a pattern, reads the person and his/her movements and responds to them.
Visitors will enjoy interactive mechanisms such as the boardilum and kamelelum, where patterns appear.
In this projection mapping installation,
Advanced technology from Toei Zukun Laboratory is utilized. cultivated for use in video production to date.
We have applied a number of technologies such as AI and XR to create new experiential content.
We hope you will enjoy the new attractions of Yuzawa this winter, which are not limited to skiing.

*Non-guests are welcome to view (free of charge) both the projection mapping and the exhibition in the Yuzawa Toei Hotel.
Guests can view the show from inside the Yuzawa Toei Hotel and from some of the rooms.
On March 2 (Sat.) and 3 (Sun.), a store and café will be open in the Yuzawa Kogen Ski Resort Mountain Rocks Station.
